UPDATE ON THE ANNUAL JOHN PIKE MEMORIAL BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA

It’s around the time of year that we would typically gather for a fun day of bowling with our friends and community. We dress up in silly costumes, bowl our hearts out and remember the gift of our late friend and founding core member, John Pike. As we all know, COVID has changed and constrained the ways in which we are able to come together as a community. We love bowling — and the event is always such a hoot — but unfortunately we cannot host our annual JPBME event this year. As with so many other events and activities this year, we must find another way to celebrate and remember our friend John. On Tuesday, October 20th here at McKim House, we’ll be lighting a candle in John's honour and taking a moment to reflect on the gift that he was to our community and the world.

We invite you to participate in this simple but radical act of remembering John by lighting a candle in your own home on Tuesday, October 20th.
